Mount Pleasant Church Young Adult Ministry (106 & Psalms)
106 & Psalms, (The Young Adult Ministry at Mount Pleasant Church), is a ministry that helps young adults move from student life to adult life.
We serve ages 19-35 years old. More than anything, young adults want to matter. We give them a place to belong and an opportunity where their identity can be shaped in a healthy way.
106 & Psalms is a community of young adults who believe that each member of the community is uniquely gifted. That each person was created with a specific purpose. Our community is motivated to discover their individual purpose as well as encourage others to discover theirs.
106 & Psalms is a community that values young adults and young adult contributions in our society. This community welcomes young adults, recognizes their gifts and talents, and offers opportunities for social opportunities and spiritual growth.
The main components of our young adult ministry are:
- Community (Fellowship)
- Inclusion in what we are doing (Empowerment)
- Helping meet the needs of young adults in our community (Social Justice)
